Mentorship Program 

As a mentor, you will need to draw on past experiences, and share the perspectives and approaches that you have used to develop your academic and professional career. It is your responsibility to share as much knowledge and advice, however, it is up to your mentee to use this information.

This program was created for mentees to gain valuable skills and experience from mentors who are volunteering their time and share their unique perceptions and advice to help you develop your academic and professional career. Your mentor will provide you with information, advice, and personal knowledge – but use this information to your discretion

Be motivating and encouraging - channel your mentee's energy into constructive change, new challenged and overcoming difficulties

Remain open, but be objective - remember differences in gender, background and personalities.

Be honest about yourself and be prepared to share your own experiences of similar issues

Come prepared to share goals you wish to achieve from this program

Communicate with your mentor about any specific expectations you may have (ex/ meeting times )
